A Brief History: We received our charter to ASG in 1987 after a group of ladies who had been meeting as a sewing group for many years decided to join this national organization of home sewers.

Our Chapter Now: Our chapter currently has over 75 members. Our full chapter meets for an educational program on the 4th Saturday of most months, we have an annual 5-day out of town retreat in San Juan Bautista, and two 3-day in town retreats in Concord. Our Virtual Neighborhood Group meets on the 2nd Wednesday over Zoom, and we have a brand new Neighborhood Group that will meet in Vacaville starting in July, 2026.

Once a year we have a blow out Stash Sale featuring great prices on fabric, notions, trims, patterns, and often, fully serviced used sewing machines and sergers.
