The conference room will hold 15 people and their machines. We hope you will join us for five days of fun with your sewing friends. \nCHECK IN: Sunday\, May 3th – 3:30 PM meet in the Lobby. (room opens at 4)\nCHECK OUT: Friday\, May 8th – 10:00 AM Sleeping Room / 12:00 PM Sewing Room (We need to leave the sewing room clean by NOON and then have lunch before departing the property.) \nACCOMMODATIONS:\n5 Nights lodging shared with one roommate or private room. 15 Gourmet Buffet meals. Bring walking shoes to enjoy the walking trails and paths around the beautiful St. Francis grounds. WI-Fi is included. \nSEWING ROOM INCLUDES:\nThe Conference room has floor plugs and ample electricity. Quiet time is 10:00 PM. (We can sew late at night as long as we are quiet and respectful of the other guests.) The facility is very sewing friendly! Each attendee will have one table to work at. There will be ironing stations\, cutting areas for garments and other items. You also might like to bring a table lamp. \nCATERING:\nSt. Francis has an in-house kitchen\, staffed by a professional chef\, serving three meals daily. Sunday\, the day we arrive\, is dinner only. On Friday\, we will be served breakfast and lunch. Coffee\, hot water for tea\, and water for drinking is located outside the sewing room and may be brought into the sewing room. No food or other beverages are allowed in the sewing room.

DESCRIPTION:This one day workshop will kick off with an introduction to Zero Waste Design\, from historical references to modern designers\, methodology\, and environmental context. \nWe will then dig into the explanation of the pattern\, how to select your size\, and how to lay it out on your fabric. DESCRIPTION:Our local 3-day retreat\, August 20th\, 21st & 22nd (THURSDAY\, FRIDAY\, SATURDAY) \nPlease note – this retreat starts on Thursday and ends on Saturday.  \nImagine 3 days of uninterrupted sewing\, talking\, laughing and still sleeping in your own bed each night. We believe you will all have a wonderful time. We have complete use of the facility and can leave our equipment and projects in place when we leave each night. \nThe workroom will fit 22 people and their machine with a 6-foot table for each person. Cutting tables will be set up and ironing boards will be in the area outside the kitchen. \nCoffee\, tea\, and water will be available each day.  Lunch will not be provided but you may bring your own.  We can all bring snacks to share as we do at our longer retreat.  If you use the fridge please mark your items so there is no confusion if the janitors come through. Currently there is no microwave oven available. \nCHECK IN: Thursday\, August 20 – 10:00 AM\nCHECK OUT: Saturday\, August 22 – 7:00 PM \nSEWING ROOM INCLUDES: ROOM FOR PIANO FABRIC (BRING YOUR UNWANTED PATTERNS AND FABRIC TO SHARE OR TRADE. At the end of the retreat you must take your remaining items home with you.) \nASG PROVIDES: power cords\, ironing boards and irons\, cutting mats and floor length mirror.
