What is the CAB?

The Chapter Advisory Board (CAB) is the governing body of an ASG chapter. It is responsible for managing the chapter’s business, property,  and operations of the chapter.  CAB members secure presenters and venues for chapter programs, plant special events, keep track of the chatper’s funds and possessions, and guide the direction of the chapter.

Many hands make light work, and we’re always looking for new CAB or committee members to help out.  If you have a specific area of interest or expertise and would like to have a large say in chapter events, please feel free to contact any CAB member, or inquire about attending an upcoming CAB meeting. We’d be happy to include you as a committee member, or invite you to shadow a current CAB member in your area of interest.

CAB meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 2:00pm Pacific Time, via Zoom. Contact Margaret Caley at president@asgcontracosta.org to receive the meeting details for an upcoming meeting.
